Warren Stevens, R. I. P. Warren Stevens, a lanky, square-jawed actor with swept-back hair and a husky voice whose face became familiar through his more than 100 roles on television and in movies over six decades, died on Tuesday at his home in Sherman Oaks, Calif. He was 92.

Hat tip to Jeff Meyerson.

The Times obit didn't mention that he co-starred with Philp Carey in Tales of the 77th Bengal Lancers, a (syndicated?) TV show circa 1957that I, for one, remember fondly.
