well, MY FAIR LADY wasn't a remake, and of all the titles listed, I'd only agree with THE TEN COMMANDMENTS. Scorsese's CAPE FEAR and Cronenberg's THE FLY are usually wildly overrated. And 3:10 TO YUMA . . . really?
I'm frothing with curmudgeonly outrage. The young whippersnapper who wrote the drivel needs a thrashing and I have a cane ready. The remake of 3:10 was an okay western until the last 10 minutes when it turned into the sickest, lamest buddy movie in history. Awful, awful. I have more but my blood is boiling and I fear death from apoplexy

With exception of THOMAS CROWN remakes I've seen all 10 films and nine of the remakes listed.
Can't remember if I liked either CAPE FEAR very much except I was pointed to John D. MacDonald books by a friend and loved many of them...

I knew everyone would take it calmly.
They missed the greatest of them all: The Maltese Falcon (1941).
