Is that supposed to be Poirot? He does have a mustache... I better re-read this one, I'd forgotten this scene entirely.
Pretty hot stuff, it appears. Little did I know that Christie wrote scenes like that.
She only has one book--"Endless Night"--which even remotely approaches raciness. I don't think it was as popular as her "cosies." Sher certainly never wrote anything like that again.
Ah the passion heaving beneath Miss Marple's dowdy cardigan....
