Bill, last week you posted about an 11 foot alligator in Wilmington, NC (where the festival is) ... I forwarded it to the Queen of Noir (Vicki Hendricks) because she knows of my inherent fear of those dinosaurs ... I'll be walking around with a stun gun just in case.
And it's supposed to rain through the weekend (thunderstorms just like at the end of Cape Fear ... and we'll be staying right near Cape Fear River ...
At 325, I will look like the bachanal came to town to those creatures.

I think this is the better of the two versions, though both were pretty good.
I'm playing at the Cape Fear Blues Festival this coming weekend--a kind of 37 year 2/3 band reunion (plus some musicians from NC).
For my money, the original wins out as the scarier of the two.
Have a great reunion, and watch out for bad guys.
I have never had the nerve to watch this. Nor its successor.

Anybody with any sense is afraid of an 11-foot gator. Even a big guy should be afraid.
