Terrorist watch list hits 1 million - USATODAY.com: "WASHINGTON — The government's terrorist watch list has hit 1 million entries, up 32% since 2007.
Federal data show the rise comes despite the removal of 33,000 entries last year by the FBI's Terrorist Screening Center in an effort to purge the list of outdated information and remove people cleared in investigations."

a million is nothing, bill ... the witness protection program must have at least 1 billion ...
seriously ... they must have their own state by now ...
Suddenly I'm thinking of Steve Martin in, what was it, MY BLUE HEAVEN?
GREAT movie, yes.
and it can't be very far from the truth. I think I read in Playboy many years ago (at least ten or so) where the number of witness protection bodies was over 50,000 (including drug dealers, etc.) ...
I can understand some of it ... but letting guys who whacked a few people (in some cases as many as 19 and 20) walk for testimony seems a bit absurd.
That's another list you'll never get on, Bill, darn it.
