This really is the kind of film that made Allied Artists exactly what it was for so remarkably long. I've managed to forget what their two or perhaps four actually good films were, over at least twenty years.
I saw this on TV in the '60s and remember being disappointed that the Frankenstein Monster was a robot. I saw it again on a local horror host show about a year ans a half ago and was surprised at what a nice little film it was that evoked the Sun Kissed Kennedy Era 60s.
