Snow
In Central Texas. In March. Hard to believe, and I'm pretty sure it's something I haven't seen in my lifetime. Not deep, but a nice covering on the ground and trees. I have a crummy little camera here, but no USB cord to hook it to the computer. I'll post some pictures later. We're leaving for Alvin around noon, and we'll be trying to get our lives back to what we call normal over the next few weeks. The last nine months or so have been a little discombobulating, and we'd sure like a few weeks with no surprises of any kind, especially bad ones.

It's a "global warming" thing Bill. Just like the bluebonnets in the snow your brother captured about a year ago.
Uppsala, Sweden (on the 60th parallell, i.e roughly as far north as Anchorage, Alaska) has no snow at all at the moment. Right now (1.40 a.m.) it's a couple of degrees above freezing. And it has been this lukewarm the entire bloody winter. They say it's the warmest winter since they started taking statistics, which means since the mid 1700s. I'd really like some of your snow, Bill.
It's all melted now.
You guys are long overdue for a nice, quiet stretch. I hope you have it.
It's springlike here. Flowers are blooming, the sun is shining, and Boeing is steamed up something fierce.
We thought spring had arrived here, too. We were wrong.
