I don't know what's worse, the story or The Daily Express claiming it is "The World's Greatest Newspaper" - NOT!
1. There is NO need to remake what was (sorry, Bill) mediocre at best the first time around.
2. If you are going to do it, pay Angie's price - she IS Barbarella.
3. There is no #3.
Sure the movie was mediocre. But who cared about that?
I saw Jane Fonda at an ABA years ago and told her thaqt seeing Barbarella was a life changing experience. She smiled and said, "And what was I before that? Chopped Liver?" Certainnly not, but it was the first of her movies I had seen.
The first one I saw was Tall Story. Tony Perkins was utterly unconvincing, but I fell for Hanoi Jane.
Jane Fonda made other movies? Just joking.
I love Sienna Miller (see CASANOVA), but Bill's right, she's just wrong for Barbarella. But if Costner can do "Dancing in Sherwood Forest (Robin Hood), Sienna can do Barbarella. I'll see it. On DVD.

I liked Casanova a lot, unlike most of the critics, and not just because of Sienna Miller. She didn't hurt, though.
When I look at Sienna Miller, I get the unerring hunch that she stinks. I don't know why. She's just got that look about her. Like she hasn't washed in about a week.
So Sienna Miller equals "musty" to me. Not a good quality for Barbarella.

Spend the extra bucks and get Angelina - she's worth it for name value alone, and she probably looks better nude. If there's no nudity (and discreetly indicated sex) it's just not Barbarella!
