Warner Bros. is aiming to make comic-book geeks around the world pee their pants. They have hired a team of writers to script a live-action feature film which will include most of DC Comics superhero line-up: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, the Flash, and more.
Kiernan and Michele Mulroney have been hired to write a big screen Justice League of America movie. You might recognize their names, because they’re the hot Hollywood scribes of the month (they wrote a draft of the Kiefer Sutherland’s Mirrors which starts shooting in May).

Potentially a very difficult project in terms of casting if nothing else. People are going to expect Brnadon Rooush as Superman and Christian Bale as Superman (and if they ever get the Wonder Woman project off the ground, whoever place Diana as Wonder Woman) and who cares about Green Lantern. So do you give the public the actors they're used to and inflate the budget, do you use different actors, or do you limit the screen time of the "big three" JLA members? Of course I may just be bitter because they'll never greenlight a project featuring my favourite superhero team, the World War II era Justice Society of America.
Now you're getting to the stuff I remember, Brent.
Here's how old I am. I wonder who they'll get to voice the (presumably) CGI version of Starro the Conqueror and play Snapper Carr.
Starro, Amazo, Despero, Eclipso, Bizarro, Kanjar Ro. How do you know they're bad guys? Easy, their names all end in "o". You gotta love DC comics from the '60s.
