MY BROTHER. . . . was the first Jack Douglas book I ever read. I was really impressed, and of course that's why I bought the others. I'll probably have a look at it, too, fairly soon. As I recall, it's the same kind of random mish-mash that NEVER TRUST . . . . is.
Ah, Jack Douglas. Always turned on Jack Paar when Douglas was on...especially when he brought along that foxy little Asian wife of his. Hoo hah. I wonder what Douglas's background was? Parr always used to have great guests like him, Oscar Levant, Alexander (was it?) King, i.e., LET THIS HOUSE BE SAFE FROM TIGERS, that I'd never heard of before or since, but they sure were entertaining. --Steve Mertz
