This is from a 1961 Sears & Roebuck Christmas catalog. I was too old by then to be interested, but this page is similar enough to one from ten years earlier to be representative of the kind of thing I'm talking about below. I could look at a page like this for hours, trying to decide just which set of holsters would look the best on me.
