Trump, The Art of the Deal.

I only saw one or two books on this list that were more than 20-25 years old, which means that a lot of the classics have been skipped in favor of new stuff that may or may not stand the test of time. I give this list two stars out of a possible five.

I'm with Mike on this. I'm not a huge horror fan and don't read a lot of it, but the oldest book I was curious about and clicked on the link was published in 1992 (I know THE COLLECTOR was published in the 1960s, but I've already read it). Still, I got a few recommendations...just adding a few more outcroppings to Mount TBR.

Lot of good choices but heavily in favor of the 20 years. Some very bad books on here Monsters by Frank Peretti and Dreamcatcher which maybe Stephen Kings poorest book.

Jaws, obviously, was the other "early" book.

I've read about a dozen of these.

Among the missing I'd been reminded of today: THE CLONE by Theodore Thomas and Kate Wilhelm. Best blob story so far.
