Never read the book but my husband and I enjoyed the movie very much. Big fans of Marjorie Main :)

I can't help but think that Cotton and (especially) Violet caught a lot of sh&t for their names...perhaps enough to have made them become outlaws in the first place. (Why am I thinking of the Johnny Cash hit--written by Shel Silverstein--"A Boy Named Sue"?)
