Picture #1 played a key part in Jack Finney's TIME AND AGAIN - the arm of the Statue of Liberty in Madison Square Park.

When the Brooklyn Bridge first opened trains ran across it, but these days it is passenger cars only, as well as pedestrians.

Broadway & Fifth Avenue meet by 23rd Street (picture 8), with Madison Square Park to the right of the picture.

The picture of the Flatiron Building is taken from the side of Madison Square Park, looking south.
