I know I'm not THAT old (yeah yeah I'm a youngin') -- but I have a funny grad school story that made me feel somewhat old in class.

In one of my classes (open to grad and undergrad), DA Pennebaker was talking about his doc The War Room. While explaining the premise, he suddenly stopped and said, "Wait, none of you probably remember Ross Perot." It was then that I looked around and realized there were mostly first and second year undergrads in the room who, I take it, were born in 1992 and 1993 (respectively).

Cullen, you're not helping Bill or me feel any younger.

OK, I looked it up (yes, I know it's "Gibbler") - she was a character on FULL HOUSE.

Actually that's the second FULL HOUSE reference I've seen this week. In BURN NOTICE: THE FALL OF SAM AXE he asks a South American rebel where she learned to speak English so well and she told him it was from watching FULL HOUSE.

I wasn't watching/listening to much of that stuff the first time around (I was already too old then), so I can't say that knowing how old the actors/singers are today made much of an impression on me. However, realizing that Kurt Cobain has been dead for 17 years (and that Courtney Love has been an absolute wreck for at least that long), THAT makes me feel old.

Well, between this and the "Awesome Childhood Memories" piece you linked to yesterday, I reckon that one thing that will make you feel old is seeing a bunch of people much younger than you reminiscing about things you never paid the least bit of attention to but that make them feel old.
