BILL CRIDER'S POP CULTURE MAGAZINE
Ah, Slightly Scarlet. High time I watched that one again. Redheads a'plenty.
Arlene looks mahvelous.(Well, someone was bound to say it.)
Well, it's true. And so does Rhonda.
She was a honey. Back in the early to mid-90s when "Renegade"* was on originally in syndication, I saw a piece I think on ET about Arlene (who still looked good) and Lorenzo (I found him pretty likable in his TV series) where he spoke glowingly of her being a stellar astrologer who helped guide his life and a number of her friends. I pretty much felt about her then as I had when Shirley MacLaine got into the past life bullshit. From IMDb:5' 6" Arlene was the Rheingold Beer Girl of 1946.Measurements: 35-22 1/2-35 (starlet 1950), 38-25-37 (as a self-proclaimed "Size 10" in 1976) (Source: Celebrity Sleuth magazine)http://www.briansdriveintheater.com/arlenedahl.html* Stephen J. Cannell writing, plus a recurring role by Cannell as the crooked cop who murdered Reno Raines' girlfriend and framed Raines for the murder (for a time it was rumored "The Fugitive" would end with Lt. Gerrard being the real killer of Helen Kimball), the very likable, Branscombe Richmond as Bobby Sixkiller, the bounty hunter Raines works for while on the run trying to prove his innocence, and the very lovely Kathleen Kinmont, (Bride of Re-Animator - 1990, and the third of four Mrs. Lorenzo Lamas, introduced to him by her mother and his Falcon Crest co-star, Abby Dalton) as Bobby's partner in corralling miscreants and helping to prove Reno's innocence, as well as keeping him out of the clutches of the law and especially Dixon and his crooked co-horts on the force.FYI (from IMDb):Lorenzo was the only actor or actress to appear in all 227 episodes of "Falcon Crest" (1981).Stepson of Esther Williams.Volunteer pilot for "Angel Flight", a charitable organization dedicated to providing free air transportation to medical facilities for patients who cannot afford public transportation or cannot tolerate it for medical reasons.
I can forgive Arlene for the astrology, as I've forgiven Shirley.
Why am I not surprised that the estimable Doc cites Celebrity Sleuth as a source?Geez, Kathleen Kinmont ... haven't seen her on screen in years.
Never seen an issue, fred. Just seems all babes on IMDb have their hourglass revealed by that source.http://scienceblogs.com/gnxp/2007/08/red_hair_going_extinct.phphttp://genetics.suite101.com/article.cfm/redheads_are_here_to_stayhttp://science.howstuffworks.com/redhead-extinction.htmhttp://www.dhamurian.org.au/anthropology/neanderthal1.html
