My fault on the earlier blunder, Fred.

One of my favorite fifties movies. It combined two of my favorite things: cowboys and dinosaurs. When I first saw it in my youth, it didn't dawn on me that it was King Kong with dinosaurs.

Sorry, I confused this one with that other cowboy/dino movie, The Beast of Hollow Mountain, starring old Wild Bill himself, Guy Madison. Loved them both.

I've read that both movies were based on ideas by Willis O'Brien. I'd give the Harryhausen film a slight edge because there were more dinos, but I remember enjoying HOLLOW MOUNTAIN too.

Bill has gotten to the point with these clips where it's going to be hard to top himself, but I have 8 words: ONE MILLION BC and WHEN DINOSAURS RULED THE EARTH.

What's with these beasts killing elephants? Elephants are kindly (but they're dumb).
