I first saw A&C MEET FRANKENSTEIN when I was a kid ca. 1963--my father, who worked at a local independent TV station, borrowed a 16mm print and projector and showed it in our living room. It's still an old favorite, though I saw it again a couple of years ago and it doesn't hold up *quite* as well as I remembered, mostly because of the clunky script. Still, the best thing Abbott and Costello ever did, and second only to YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN as the best horror comedy.

Barb and I watched it last night. Still the greatest comedy horror show, with only YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN as competition.
I agree.
I never understood the appeal of A & C, or The Stooges. Just never seemed funny to me.
One of their best.

PS: I should say "the best FILM A&C ever did," considering how perfect their "Who's on First?" routine is.
