I'm sorry to see it go. For many years it was my favorite cereal. I even had to start ordering it from Amazon after the local grocery stores stopped carrying it. I'd never heard of the cereal before I read Roger Hall's "19". On a whim I decided to buy a box and try it and it became my favorite.
I have never, as an adult, been much of a cereal person. The name was vaguely familiar, but I have never tasted Product 19, and now I guess I never will.

"Beloved" seems a little strong. I don't know anyone who eats it. Well, Mike D., obviously.
Just three days ago I asked my 33 year old daughter whether she remembered Product 19.
She swore she had never even heard of it.
