Somehow I missed the news of this appointment, but if one can't trust the New Secretary of the Treasury, whom can one trust?

What was the form? I think you should fill it out. You don't want to get in trouble with the New Kids on the Block, I mean New Secretary of the Treasury.
I know for a fact this is not true: The Senate would never have confirmed him.
I just got one from a three-star general, asking me to write back so we could do some important business (lol). Where do this idiots come from?
Classic...but still far behind the gem from the Nigerian officer who needs money to come back from outer space.
At least whoever wrote that sorta got the name right:
"The current and 76th Secretary of the Treasury is Jacob Lew, a former White House Chief of Staff who was confirmed by the United States Senate on February 27, 2013."
The form was an attachment. I can send it to anybody who wants to open it.
My favorite was one that said the FBI had discovered Kiddie-Porn on my computer and they were coming to confiscate it and arrest me... BUT: according to Senate Bill #AEX123546 I could opt to pay a fine and send it to the following....
Since you're a free man, I take it that you paid.
I just had an email in my in-box this morning from "Microsoft" telling me that they have reason to believe that someone has accessed my email address and I better send them my password so they can fix it.
I hope you took care of that immediately.
My sister--military veteran, nobody's fool, and all-round tough cookie--got a phone call from "Microsoft" telling her they had detected a virus on her computer. They must have been convincing because my sister was halfway through giving the caller access to her computer when something he said finally set off her bs-detector and she hung up (and immediately called REAL customer service to get them to check her computer). Sometimes when something sounds plausible, people (no matter how smart) can fall for it.
True. I'm just waiting for my turn.
