I was helping a student find resources for his project on "youth in Asia" and I truly didn't know if he meant euthanasia or teens in China, Japan, Korea, etc. (It didn't help that he didn't know either.)
I always thought "bobwire" was Texan for barbed wire.Back in the 60s when they mentioned "the [WEB} DuBois Clubs" I always thought they meant "the Boys Clubs."Euthenasia was definitely another.Jeff
When I was teaching, I saw most of these in student papers from time to time.
Reminds me of the panel in POGO where Albert complains, "Can't a guy stay in bed without becoming a social leopard?"
