Oh Hell, I can top that easily.
The Academy sent a "Best Picture" Nomination to Monogram for the Bowery Boys movie HIGH SOCIETY (1955) thinking it was the better-known movie with Grace Kelley. Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra (1956.)

And all this time I thought the Bowery Boys picture was the winner.
