I wouldn't be too hopeful. I think Disney screwed that pooch. Handled right, THE MUCKER or THE MONSTER MEN could be slam-bang action movies requiring a minimum of CGI.
Good, maybe great news. Hard to see how anyone else could bring deep enough pockets to the table to continue, but I'm hopeful. I also thought the film was awesome and totally mishandled by Disney. I'll keep my Barsoomian digits crossed!
I thought the movie was very good(no book can be perfectly transformed to a visual medium) and badly handled by Disney. Obviously not fans, only seeing what they thought were dollar signs.
Like you, I don't believe it will happen. But one can dream...

I don't think it'll happen, but I sure wish it would. And the others you mention would be great to see, too.

I wish it would. I enjoyed the movie okay though it wasn't faithful to the books.
