I loved that article, especially as I haven't had to sit through any of the movies.
How strapped for cash, how totally desperate, must Cage have been to sign on to such a cut-rate production—a bargain-basement disaster movie legitimized only by the presence of an Oscar winner in its cast?
Also, I had no idea there was a three-part adaptation of ATLAS SHRUGGED out there. I';m waiting for George Kelley to buy the Blu-Ray and review it for us.
At the rate they're going, John Cusack, Liam Neeson, and Robert DeNiro will be entering Nicholas Cage don't-bother-showing-me-the-script-just-hand-me-the-check territory pretty soon. Of course, none can bring the crazy like our Nic.
"3 Days to Kill" and "Legend of Hercules" were decent formula movies. For fun, switch this list with the "most underrated" list -- by and large, the movies in each leave me cold.

Good one.

I have a feeling George will pass that one up even when Costco has it for $1.98.
Even with the acting being a bit weak, I really enjoyed all three parts of "Atlas Shrugged."
I also liked "3 Days to Kill." Suspenseful and well-written.
That one does sound tempting. I still like Kevin Costner.

Neeson's already a bit like Cage, but his movies are still fun to watch.
