We've been to:

Edinburgh Castle - one of my favorite cities. The Castle is high on a huge hill in the old part of the city at the top of the Royal Mile.

Warwick Castle - nice. They have peacocks who roam the grounds and terrorize innocent tourists trying to eat their lunch. We toured the dungeons and it gave me claustrophobia.

Stirling Castle - Stirling is between Edinburgh and Glasgow (roughly). Frankly, we were there mainly to look for books. The castle was an extra.

Arundel Castle - just drove past it. We stayed in the town going back to London from the South Coast.

Conwy Castle - North Wales. As you can see, it's a ruin, but you can walk on the walls. We drove over from Chester in England.

An aside - I never got why Leeds Castle is in Kent, which is nowhere near Leeds.

Anyone? Bueller?

I've never been to any of them. And most likely never will be. I've been to Neuschwanstein castle, and that's it.

Been there too. Also several of the chateaux in France. And other castles/palaces in Germany and Austria. And Denmark and Sweden.

I guess it was more than I'd remembered.

Been to Edinburgh, Leeds, Warwick, and the Tower of London. I went to Wales on the same trip but for some reason didn't see any of the great castles they have there.
