Mel's a comics reader. He might know.
Maybe he did. Or maybe he forgot, but the name stuck in his unconscious. I once wrote a short story (that's been rejected a dozen times) and unintentionally used a name of a friend from childhood.
I don't know how the book is but the blurb is fantastic.
