Lucius Shepard, R. I. P.
Lucius Shepard - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: Lucius Shepard (born August 21, 1947 in Lynchburg, Virginia; died March 20, 2014[1]) was an American writer. Classified as a science fiction and fantasy writer, he often leaned into other genres, such as magical realism. His work is infused with a political and historical sensibility and an awareness of literary antecedents.

Sad news.
I enjoyed Lucius Shepard's work. I have a handful of his books waiting to be read. I think I'll read one today.
This is sad. He has a forthcoming novel coming from Subterranean. It is a part of his Dragon Grauile series. I also have a couple of his more recent books on my TBR pile.
