But, then, you've never dated Harlan Ellison, either.
Cecelia Ahern? More famous than Stephen King, Ian Fleming, Jackie Susann?
Meanwhile, I hope you'd refuse to be on a list composed with this headnote: "Now the basic question is, can everybody become an author as famous as the ones you prefer? Well, not everybody has got the talent. It requires skill and talent to be able to write well and communicate your thought processes through your words."

Yeah, but are they making the big bucks you are?
Probably not. I should be content with that.
But do I comment on their blogs?
Another point in my favor.

Sidney Sheldon is still more famous than, say, Anne Rice? Or for that matter Salman Rushdie?
True, I've never dated Harlan Ellison. But I've been reading his work for well over 50 years. That should count for something.
And I assure you I'll not be pursuing Rowling for a Tuesday A/V. Though I'll certainly take one if she wants to write one.
That does raise the question, does Danielle Steel still read Harlan Ellison? Or vice verse?
