Yeah, when I was stationed at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, we used to drive over to San Marcus all the time. Lots of fun.
I was able to get there once, in 1958, when I was in high school. A great place.
I went a few times during my school days. '56 thru '68. I think we had a school trip once a year, with Aquarena, State Fair, and Longhorn Caverns in rotation.
