Dr. Joyce Brothers was cleared of all fix charges when she proved that she had memorized The RING Magazine Boxing Encyclopedia before going on.
And of course, she went on to host advice shows, play herself in comedies, and ultimately get murdered on Ellery Queen ("The Adventure Of The Two-Faced Woman", FYI).
