Oh, yeah, I remember buying this one and all the other Fiction House editions of the Saint novels. Fiction House was actually Charteris's company, wasn't it? I also recall that those editions had tiny, tiny print that I wouldn't even attempt to read these days, but I sure enjoyed them then.
No, Leslie wasn't involved with FPC other than the obvious rights deal. You're probably thinking of Bond-Charteris (and later Saint Enterprises) which published a number of Saint titles and Saint-related titles in the 1940s.
