I guess it should have specified "Sci Fi" series. Otherwise it should definitely have Sheriff Dan Rhodes, Jack Reacher, Agent Pendergast, C.J.Box, Rachel Caine, Dresden, Baldacci's The Camel Club. Gee,lots more. Guess I read a lot of series.
i09 is a sci-fi site, so I don't think they need to specify. I'm with them on ANY of Octavia Butler's books. I'm not even a big sci-fi reader, but she changed my mind about the genre.
