‘Damn Yankees’ and ‘Pajama Game’ composer-lyricist Richard Adler dies at age 90 - NY Daily News: Award-winning composer and lyricist Richard Adler, a bright star of Broadway’s Golden Age, has died. He was 90.
Adler is best-known for co-writing the music and lyrics for the 1954 show “The Pajama Game” and a year later for “Damn Yankees. Both won Tony Awards for Best Musical.
