I don't think of myself as a fast reader, but people around me are usually surprised at how fast I get through books, but I see myself as reading at a normal pace.
I see that I read at the speed of an average 8th grader which is still 2% above the national average 8-) I like to "listen" to the words as I read fiction as in narration.
