Well Lassie is on the list, but Rin Tin Tin - the dog that quite literally save the Warner Brothers Studio Time-Warner behemoth that we know and loathe today - isn't on the list. Of them all he was the greatest (though I do admire the versatility of Trigger, who had an undiscovered flair for comedy that he didn't show until his last movie, "Son of Paleface."
Damn, I don't know how I missed Lassie the first time through. I must have accidentally skipped ahead, or my evil computer did it for me. Other possibilities: Fury, Flicka, Black Beauty, and Cleo.

One-shots like Baby and the black panther should be replaced by Rin Tin Tin and Lassie.

Here's what I posted there (before checking here):
Where's Rin Tin Tin?
Where's Paulie?
Where's Flipper? (It was a movie first, but if you prefer, where's Bee and Pha?)
Where's Ben?
