When I was a teenager in Glendale, CA there was a fat motorcycle cop who loved to stop us and give us tickets - whether we deserved it or not. Later he rode around in a car - and once he left his shotgun leaning against the side of the car. He forgot about it and drove away and left it at the scene. We were all overjoyed when he got fired!
