May I add some oddball Swedishness to all this? Bo Åkerström is today head of some department within the faculty of biomedical-something-or-the-other at the university of Lund, Sweden, but he is still front man for Torsson whose 1980 debut LP (title translates as "Able But Unwilling" - great title) included this classic which I consider to be the best soccer song of all time, anywhere:

And here they are in in December last year singing about kittens. The lyrics are 100% etologically correct. Trust me, Bo knows cats.
