What is the ALA?
American Library Association
I would love to attend, but dude - $300 for non-members. I don't suppose there will be any off-site signings, or other events I could crash?
I don't know how these things work. I've never been to one.
The truth: You can probably walk right into the sessions without a name badge. They only check badges when trying to enter the exhibits. Carry a clipboard.
Make sure you spend time with Martin Limon, a really good guy.
