The followup reports suggest they think it suicide. No fun at all.
Sad, indeed.
I always though Carradine was underrated as an actor. Sometimes "simple" roles like his Kwai Chang Caine are the most difficult to pull off. A real loss.
Sad indeed. I loved his work.
His earlier TV series from 1966, little noted and not long remembered, was SHANE. One episode sticks in my mind because it guest-starred another then-up-and-coming young actor with a '60s vibe, Bruce Dern. And of course there was BOXCAR BERTHA and the spread that he and Barbara Hershey did for Playboy. He certainly had an interesting career.
David Carradine, star of the 1970s television series "Kung Fu." has been found dead in a Bangkok hotel room.

You know, there are worse ways to go, but I can't think of a more undignified way than autoerotic asphyxiation.
