Whisky Update

The Raw Story: A single malt whisky produced by a distillery in a remote part of Scotland has beaten 1,200 whiskies from around the world to be crowned World Whisky of the Year.

$120 a bottle? You can bet that price will go up. Not that I'll spend $120 anyway.

Well, I wouldn't pay the going rate for it either, but I'd bet that a certain accordion playing Scotsman now living in Katy will be getting more than few friendly calls asking him to score some of "the good stuff" for them. He's from Tain which is right over the local mountain from the distillery in Wick, Scotland. I'm not naming names,'cause I intend to be first!
