Bill Trojan, R. I. P.

Fan and publisher Bill Trojan died on August 21 in his hotel room shortly after the end of Renovation. Trojan was a Eugene, Oregon, area fan. Trojan had been in Reno for the convention, where he was working as a volunteer.

Hat tip to Steve Stilwell.

I don't know who started this nonsense about Bill running Adventure House, but it isn't true. Adventure House is owned and operated by John Gunnison, who is still very much alive and publishing reprints in addition to selling vintage pulps (including, shortly, the Frank Robinson collection).

I'm sorry to hear about Bill Trojan, whom I've known for years, but I sure hope the claim of his supposed connection to Adventure House is debunked lest it have a deleterious effect on John's business.
