Ace Books published a ton of nurse novels in the early '60s, before the gothic wave crested. I remember seeing them on the pb racks as I searched for the latest Burroughs and Kline reissues. 40 cent paperbacks, truly a lost utopia.
They missed Silverberg's Nurse Caroline and Malzberg's Nympho Nurse. (Also, the Cherry Aimless books.)
Harry Whittington wrote two nurse novels for Ace under his wife's maiden name.
I'm sure Art Scoot owns most of these nurse books.
