Yesterday I was a thrift store and spotted a Matt Helm with a cover that looked like some posted since the word of Donald Hamilton's death. While I do have a few Hamiltons, I have never read him. The book is now in my TBR read stack as it turned out to be the very first in the series, Death of a Citizen. By the way, you can have the snow as an Easter gift. Up here north of the 49th where we are hosting the World Women's Hockey Championship, we got rid of most of our white stuff before the visitors from Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, Russia, Kazakhstan, China and the USA arrived last week.

While you can't go wrong with Hamilton, Death of a Citizen is the perfect place to begin, and maybe the best in the series.

Thanks for the snow. We didn't get it here in Alvin, but my brother enjoyed it.

And people are telling each other, such as Juri on his blog the other day, about Michael Didbin's death, at the not-so-old age of 60. I gather K.K. Beck is thus widowed. A tough month, March.

Indeed.
