Perfectly understandable, especially in Florida. Judge Judy (who went to my high school, by the way, as did Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Chuck Schumer, as well as Carole King and Andrew Dice Clay) is enough to make you reach for a hammer, though I'd be more likely to bash in the television screen.
