Health Update
I was beginning to think that M.D. Anderson had forgotten all about me, and that was just fine. Yesterday, however, my oncologist called and asked me if I could come in today. That's unheard of. They must have suddenly remembered me. Anyway, I went in and got mostly good news. The not-so-good part is that my PSA has crept up over 4 again. The good part is that the doctor isn't worried about it and has postponed chemo again. I'll go in after the holidays for testing, and then we'll decide about the chemo. Maybe the PSA will go down again. Cross your fingers.

Your health is often in my thoughts, Bill...whenever I visit this blog multiple times daily.
My fingers are crossed for you.

My fingers are permanently crossed for you! Happy holidays Bill.
Everything I have is crossed, and I'll throw in a few prayers, too.
My fingers are crossed for you.
Crossed up to the elbows, Bill. The shoulders, if necessary.
I'll take this as good news, Bill. Wishing you only the best.
Sounds like good news to me!
Though I have been GAFIATING ( I think) a lot lately, I am still thinking a lot about your health, and Al Collins' health. Wishing the best for all. Thanks for keeping us updated. sas
This does sound positive.
Our fingers are crossed, too!
Take care, Bill--so many are sending good stuff your way.
When they give you these tests do you get a chance to study for them?
Indeed. Fingers always crossed (which makes it tough to type, but you know...).
Lots of prayers and good thoughts. Anytime a doctor says you can postpone chemo that's a good thing. Take care.
As are mine which is why I make so many typos lately.
Clearly, you have been remiss on your cats in the lap therapy and need to get back to the chair more often. Sure, you had to travel during the recent holiday, but rehab at home in important.
I am glad to hear you are doing well.
My PSA is 0.2 after having prostate removal. I see the radiology oncologist Monday, which starts the radiation treatment regime. This getting old thing sucks.
Thumbs up Bill!
I've had my PSA reading rise and then fall again. My doctor told me the PSA score could be elevated by certain kinds of physical activity, including even riding in a truck over rough terrain. So perhaps something like that will prove true for you. I hope so. All best wishes.
Fingers crossed (as soon as I quit typing this).
Everything crossed, including legs, as well. (Typing with nose, causing crossed eyes.) Otherwise, very good news...and hoping for further good news!
I not only have everything crossed I can, I'm standing at a railroad crossing eating hot cross buns.
All best, buddy!
