What kind of a list is it when there isn't a single Nicolas Cage movie on it?

It's a sad year when that happens.

It's at times like this I really wish there'd been a sequel to the classic book, BAD MOVIES WE LOVE. Just thinking about what those guys would have done with something like BY THE SEA makes me smile.

I'm sorry MORDECAI was such a train wreck. It was based on a trilogy of novels by Kyril Bonfiglioli about an amoral snob of an art dealer. With the right hand at the helm, the movie could have been entertaining. I guess the filmmakers' first mistake was hiring Johnny Depp (who seems to have moved into Nicholas Cage territory).

I have the Mortdecai trilogy but haven't read it (of course). One of these days.
