I see it is available on a double bill DVD with the truly execrable Gas-s-s-s, another AIP gem from Roger Corman. Believe me, that makes Wild in the Streets look great by comparison.
Still, for $8.99 for the two it's hard to go wrong. If you young whippersnappers want to see how idiotic your elders could look in the late '60s this is your chance.

I don't think I've seen this ridiculous film since 1968, when I probably thought it was "cool." Whatever happened to Christopher Jones?

I loved it in 68 but now it would be a horror film to me.

Far out, man. Like, wow.
It's hard to decide which is more deliciously awful: Shelley Winters's freak-out scene or the eternal youth anthem "Fourteen or Fight."
I vote for Shelley, the Nic Cage of her generation.
I can't believe Shelley never played Nic's mother. That would have been awesome.
