The Wrap Movies: Marvin Hamlisch, the composer and conductor best known for the torch song "The Way We Were," died in Los Angeles Monday. He was 68 years old.
Diane and I have seen Marvin Hamlisch many times. He was the Pops conductor of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra for years. He was a very talented, funny guy. Maybe it's just me, but 68 seems really too soon.
