Can you imagine Rock Hudson in the Cary Grant part? I really can't that would have turned the movie into just another Rock and Doris movie. Having Cary Grant in it gives it an entirely different dimension, and I think it has to do with the fact that he is older. It's therefore ironic then that this movie is the one that made him decide to give up being the pursuer in this sort of romantic comedy - in "Charade" its Audrey Hepburn who is the pursuer.

I always liked Doris Day! She was/is an underated actress and comedienne and a great looking woman!

Saw this at The Strand Theater in Marietta, GA. Fun movie. Still remember the hives scene. In those days, Carey Grant & Doris Day were big stars.
