The door opened and a something stepped into the the room. It had a head like Jack's from Jack-in-the-Box, round red circles on its cheeks, hair like a floor mop, and a pointed hat. It looked at us and backed out of the apartment. We ran upstairs. <br /><br />Maybe it was a drunken neighbor returning from a costume party at 8 a.m., or maybe it was a genuine unnamed being.
